20. Al-Qaabid

The One Who withholds

The Constricter, The Retainer, 

The Withholder, The One who 
constricts the sustenance by His 
wisdom and expands and widens it with His Generosity and Mercy.  Who Straitens,He who constricts, restricts and gives want.The Taker (of souls &provision)

سماه به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الحديث الصحيح الذي سبق في اسم الله المسعر: ( إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُالْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ الرَّازِقُ …

This name is not mentioned in the Qura’n , but the Messenger (sallahAllahu alayhi wasallam) named it  in the authentic hadeeth that has preceeded , 

in which is the name of Allah : Al – Musai’r :

 “ ….Allah is The one Who Raises and Increase & decreases things

 ( through His Will  e.g  prices ,provision , life), The One Who withholds, The One who gives lavishly and The One who sustains, and I hope that when I meet Allah, none of you will have any claim on me for an injustice regarding blood or property.”
