26. As-Samee

The All-Hearer

The All-Hearing,The One 

who Hears all things

 that are heard by His Eternal Hearing without an ear, instrument or organ

Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow)

 2:127- سورة البقرة

وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Wa-ith yarfaAAu ibraheemualqawaAAida mina albayti wa-ismaAAeelu rabbanataqabbal minna innaka anta assameeAAu alAAaleem

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) and (his son) Isma'il 

(Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at 

Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You 

are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower."

**Ibrahim (alh-e-salam) aur ismail (alh-e-salam) kaaba ki bunyaden

 aur deewaren uthatay jatay thay aur kehtay jaa rahey thay kay humaray perwerdigar! Tu hum say qabool farma tu hi sunnay wala aur 

janney wala hai.**

 

     Word Meaning

وَإِذْ-Wa-ith-And when

يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ-  yarfaAAu ibraheemu-Ibrahim (was) raising

الْقَوَاعِدَ-alqawaAAida-the foundations

  مِنَ الْبَيْتِ-mina albayti -of the house

وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ-wa-ismaAAeelu- and ismail

رَبَّنَا- rabbana-(saying), our lord!

 تَقَبَّلْ-Taqabbal-accept

 مِنَّا ۖ -minna -from us

إِنَّكَ-innaka -Indeed You!

أَنتَ-anta -[you]are

السَّمِيعُ-assameeAAu -the All-Hearer

الْعَلِيمُ-alAAaleem-the All-Knower
